  • Masteral Program in Accountancy now available at SPUD

    St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) will be accepting individuals who are interested to take-up Master of Science in Accountancy Major in Management Accounting (MSA-MA) in a Trimester Scheme this Academic School Year 2016 – 2017 in collaboration with the University of San Carlos (USC) – School of Business and Economics with a Memorandum of Agreement signed by Fr. Dionisio M. Miranda, SVD and Sr. Nintha Lucilla Baldado, SPC respectively.

    A total of 42 units wherein classes for the 36 units will be held at SPUD and the remaining 6 units such as Comprehensive Exam, Thesis Writing & Accounting Research will be held at USC in Cebu City. Interested individuals must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Commerce Major in Accountancy or BSBA Major in Accountancy or Finance, and also each applicant must secure various documents such as Certificate of Transfer Credentials/Certificate of Honorable Dismissal (Original Copy), Transcript of Records specifying Graduation/Special Order (Informative Copy), Certificate of Employment (At least 2 years experience for CPA’s and 3 years for Non-CPA’s), Recommendation from a Professor or Employer, Satisfactory Admission Test Scores and Completed Application Form. Meanwhile, Foreign Students should secure an Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR), Certificate of Equivalency, Student Visa, Authenticated TOR and Authenticated Police Clearance from the Student’s Country.

    The objectives of the program is to provide relevant, timely and transformative accounting education, specifically management accounting that is responsive to the needs of the local, national and global communities in a rapidly changing world, to develop competent and socially responsible accounting professionals and life-long learners, to meet the needs of the accounting profession for individuals with a broader and extensive training in research and to provide a venue for accountants seeking advancement of specialization in their professional fields.

    All applicants can now submit their scanned TOR at for evaluation, testing fee is Php 300.00, admission & entrance test including interview & submission of other documents will be scheduled prior to the opening of classes.
