The Department of Education (DepEd) Bayawan City Division conducted an on-site visit to assess the capacity of SPUD as a potential partner training center for the Joint Delivery Voucher Program (JDVP) for Senior High School Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) programs last February 2, 2023. Led by Dr. Anelito A. Bongcawil, the head of the DepEd Division of Bayawan City, the team included Mr. Christopher U Bantug, DM, the Education Program Supervisor (AP), Senior High School Coordinator, Mrs. Marites L. Magdasal, Education Program for EPP and TLE, and other DepEd officials and teachers from Bayawan City Division. The visit was facilitated by Ms. Lorielin J. Oira, the Head of the Continuing Education Institute at SPUD. The JDVP is a government program that provides financial assistance to students enrolled in TVL courses, and SPUD intends to offer programs such as Organic Agriculture Production (NCII), Bread Pastry Production (NCII), Health Care Services NCII, Contact Center Services NCII, Computer System Servicing NCII, Food and Beverage Services NCII, and Cookery NCII under this program. SPUD looks forward to this potential partnership with DepEd as part of its commitment to providing quality education and training opportunities to its students and community members.
