This policy provides information on the data collected by SPUD about its current, former, and prospective students, employees, and other stakeholders; how such data will be used and processed; how its security will be maintained; and how it will be disposed of once it is no longer needed.”

The use of generative AI tools in all academic and administrative activities within St. Paul University Dumaguete shall be governed by the policies and guidelines under the provisions of the Program GENIuS. All stakeholders including faculty, staff and students must conduct responsibly, with full disclosure and in strict adherence to the principles of academic integrity, human accountability, and the core Paulinian values. Any unauthorized, undisclosed, or deceptive use of generative AI shall be considered a violation of the University’s academic standards, and subject to disciplinary action. Users are fully responsible for all AI-generated content and must ensure compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and other applicable regulations.
