St. Paul University Dumaguete Welcomes the Alumni from St. Paul University Manila
St. Paul University Dumaguete warmly welcomed esteemed alumni from St. Paul University Manila, who sought to visit the mother school of the Paulinian Schools across the Philippines. This special event aimed to strengthen the connection between the two institutions and provided an opportunity for the alumni to explore the beautiful tourist destinations in the province and Siquijor.
The alumni's visit began with a warm and affectionate welcome, setting the tone for a memorable experience. As they stepped onto the campus of St. Paul University Dumaguete, the first Paulinian institution in the country, they were greeted with enthusiasm and a sense of camaraderie. The alumni were then treated to a sumptuous welcome lunch with the University President, Sr. Mila Grace Silab, SPC and some personnel.
Following the lunch, the alumni embarked on a guided tour around the historic campus of St. Paul University Dumaguete. The tour showcased the institution's growth and development since its establishment, highlighting its commitment to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and service to the community. The alumni sang the Paulinian hymn as they reached the famous native structure of Mere Maria Hall.
As St. Paul University Dumaguete continues to uphold the legacy of its founders, the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres, this unique gathering marks another milestone in the institution's history. It also underscores the importance of unity among Paulinian institutions, as they work together to shape future generations of leaders and scholars while celebrating the beauty of the Philippines.
