On March 15, 2024, John Kenneth Baldonado joined the Bio Research Forum at the Audio Visual Theater in SU, spearheaded by the Biology Society of Silliman University in celebration of their 88th CAS week.

John Kenneth is a level two General Science student from the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education who conducted research entitled: "Quantification of Plate Waste in the School Canteen of St. Paul University Dumaguete" as part of his Environmental Science course.

The second-year student said that he has faced challenges throughout the conduct of his research but his adviser in the Environmental Science course, Mrs. Irish Udtohan, has guided him along the way. Along with the presenter are his General Science buddies from levels one to four who showed their support.

The forum consists of participants from the three major universities of Dumaguete including Silliman University, Foundation University, and St. Paul University Dumaguete.
