Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental - St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) is proud to announce that its Basic Education Department has been re-accredited by the Philippine Association of Accrediting Agencies of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) Level II for a period of 5 years, from 2024 to 2029.

The PAASCU accreditation process is a rigorous evaluation of an educational institution based on set standards and criteria. It assesses the following areas: Leadership and Governance, Quality Assurance, Resource Management, Teaching-Learning, Student Services, External Relations, Research, and Results.

The Basic Education Department of SPUD has undergone significant improvements in recent years, including the upgrading of its facilities and infrastructure, the recruitment of highly qualified faculty members, and the implementation of innovative teaching methods and assessment tools.
