St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) recently marked a significant milestone in its commitment to sustainability with the blessing of its 200-kilowatt solar panel system. The project was made possible through a partnership with G-Uymatiao Construction, a leading construction company in the province.

The solar panel system was blessed by Rev. Fr. Renil Quiliope, with the university's President, Sr. Mila Grace A. Silab, SPC, and the SPC Sisters, Lay Administrators, Faculty, and Staff in attendance.

The 200-kilowatt solar panel system will surely reduce the university's carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels. This is part of SPUD's efforts to promote environmental sustainability and reduce its ecological impact.
