The School Division Office (SDO) of Bayawan City and SPU Dumaguete have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services.

The partnership aims to provide comprehensive support to learners and personnel by enhancing mental health resources and fostering a supportive environment. The MOU will promote mental health awareness, provide counseling services, and develop programs to address mental health concerns.

SPU Dumaguete, a premier institution in the region, brings its expertise in mental health services to the partnership. The university's faculty, staff and BS Psychology students will work closely with SDO Bayawan City to develop and implement mental health programs that cater to the needs of learners and personnel.

The signing of the MOU marks a significant step in promoting mental health awareness and support in Bayawan City. The partnership will benefit not only learners but also the wider community, contributing to a culture of wellness and resilience.
