St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPU Dumaguete) recently met with Claro Vista Company to discuss potential international internship programs for its students. The meeting aimed to create opportunities for Paulinian students to gain professional experience in the United States and Asian countries.

University leaders are excited about the prospect of providing students with global work exposure across various academic programs. The proposed partnership would offer students valuable international on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.

Dr. Mary Francis Laquinon, Head of the Office of International Relations and Continuing Education (OIRCE) highlighted the importance of expanding students' global perspectives and career readiness. "SPU Dumaguete commits to widen its International partnership for the students and alumni to have varied opportunities abroad," she noted. “We at SPU Dumaguete remain committed to providing innovative educational pathways that prepare Paulinians for global professional challenges” added Mr. Erven Noay, Head of the External Affairs.

Claro Vista Company representatives showed keen interest in collaborating with SPU Dumaguete, recognizing the mutual benefits of such an educational partnership.

The university will continue to work towards finalizing the details of this potential global internship program, with the goal of providing Paulinian students with transformative international work experiences.
