St. Paul University Dumaguete Signs Historic MOU with Rosewood International College and Choice Business College, Australia

In a landmark development for Dumaguete students, St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rosewood International College and Choice Business College, Australia. The ceremony at the Holiday Inn in Makati marks a significant step in expanding educational opportunities and enhancing career pathways for Paulinians.
The MOU allows SPUD students to earn dual diplomas in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Accounting (BSA), Hospitality/Tourism Management (BSHM/TM), and Business Administration (BSBA), providing vital qualifications for pursuing careers in Australia.
Notable attendees included Dumaguete City Mayor Hon. Filipe “Ipe” Antonio Remollo and Bernice Vanguardia, Austrade and Investment Commissioner, who praised the partnership’s potential impact on local education and career options.
Mayor Remollo called it a “golden opportunity” for Dumaguete's youth, emphasizing the enhancement of their global employability. Vanguardia described the MOU as a strategic initiative that aligns with Australia’s commitment to educational collaboration, bridging skills gaps and offering aspiring professionals access to work in Australia.
SPUD President Sr. Mila Grace Silab, SPC, echoed these sentiments, stating, "We are here because of progress and to offer more opportunities for our students, helping them reach their dreams not only in the Philippines but on the global stage."
