SPU Dumaguete Shines at International Creativity & Innovation Awards

St. Paul University (SPU) Dumaguete has achieved notable success at the International Creativity & Innovation Awards National Selection. Two teams from the university excelled in the competition, showcasing their innovative projects.

Team FRESH, composed of Celdrich Lance Curaza, Lougee Ann A. Yunsay, and Chelsea E. Cardino, won first place in the Innovation Challenge category. Meanwhile, the Trash Sorter project by Mark Jander B. Banico, Mike Jaycer B. Banico, and Lucito A. Balanay III secured fifth place in the Innovation Awards category.

Under the guidance of Mr. Zecariah Chito A. Jumawan, MBA-HTM, both teams demonstrated SPUD's emphasis on service, social responsibility, and innovation. Their victories have earned them the opportunity to represent SPUD and the Philippines at the ICIA 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from April 25-27, 2025.
