SPUD Community Unites for Good Governance and Peace

Students, faculty, and staff of St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) gathered on September 24, 2025, for the White Wednesday Revolution: Paulinians for Good Governance, a campus-wide call for integrity, accountability, and peace.

The event began with a 4:00 p.m. Mass at the University Chapel, followed by a video presentation on corruption and statements from department representatives on the importance of honest leadership. Participants then joined a writing activity pledging personal commitments against corruption and a communal rosary prayer.

At the SPUD Ballfield, the community held the Walk for Peaceful Revolution, candle lighting, covenant profession, and prayers for the nation. The program concluded with the symbolic burning of papers, signifying the rejection of dishonesty and corruption, and a final prayer of blessing.

Through the event, Paulinians reaffirmed their stand for truth, justice, and responsible citizenship in building a just and peaceful society.
