St. Paul University Dumaguete College of Nursing Honored for Outstanding Performance in 2025 PNLE

The City Council of Dumaguete City has officially recognized the exemplary performance of St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) College of Nursing in the 2025 Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination (PNLE). During a recent ceremony, the university was lauded for achieving a 100% passing rate and for being one of the Top 1 Performing Nursing Schools in the Philippines, with over 100 examinees.

The commendation was received by Dr. Cliford Kilat, Dean of the College of Nursing, together with, Dr. Maricar Flores, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mr. Erven Noay, MA-CDDS, MAEd, Head of External Affairs, Ms. Rowena Masicampo, RN, MAN and Ms. Nicole Ann Llamada, RN, MAN, both Clinical Instructors.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for SPUD, as the college maintains an impressive record of excellence in nursing education. The 2025 PNLE is the 14th consecutive examination in which SPUD achieved a 100% passing rate, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to quality education and student success. Furthermore, this is the 4th year in a row that the university has been recognized as the Top 1 Performing Nursing School nationwide.

The success of SPUD’s College of Nursing continues to bolster Dumaguete City’s reputation as a hub for quality nursing education, producing highly competent professionals ready to serve both locally and internationally.
