Paulinian Community Unites in Love and Care in Honor of SPUD's Personnel
JAN 24
An endless stream of responsibilities, draining yet fulfilling. A life of a personnel comes with responsibilities beyond classroom and offices. A field where life is a constant juggles of struggles from home to workplace, where countless sacrifices follow.
On January 23, 2026, where empty pews were slowly occupied, Paulinians were drawn together by faith for the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul and moved to unite for the Personnel Appreciation Day. As the choir filled the university chapel with harmony, the program formally started with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration at 1:30 PM onwards.
The mass brought the community together, rejoicing hope and affirming faith. Ending the mass, Paulinian formators who have long dedicated their lives in service stood and receive the blessing with faith and honor. It was beyond recognition, it was an affirmation of their selfless service in shaping young minds and nurturing excellence.
Following the Eucharist Celebration, a walk to the gymnasium was taken. Inside, held the procession, recognizing the personnel of SPUD. Each walked in grace with lavish outfit displayed yet, a meaningful distinction was made: service awardees are dressed in red, a declaration of love and genuine service for the institution.
Personnel with service extending beyond a decade was given a recognition. Following the recognition, a dance performance by students and personnel filled the gymnasium with laughter and scream. The moment took an emotional turn when Ms. Fe E. Casuse shared a story filled with gratitude and inspiration as personnel.
As the event came to a close, the celebration carried a deeper meaning. It wasn't just the selfless service but the sacrifices made along the way. This day wasn't just an annual celebration, it is a tradition that is meant to inspire, uplift, and value those who dedicated their lives in shaping others' future.
