Yesterday, July 29, 2026, the Basic Education Mini Presscon 2026 – Writing Categories successfully brought together talented student writers from the Grade School, Junior High School, and Senior High School divisions as they showcased their critical thinking, creativity, and passion for journalism.

Through every headline crafted, feature written, editorial argued, and story told, our participants demonstrated that journalism is more than just writing—it is using one’s voice to inform, inspire, and make a difference.
