St. Paul University Dumaguete celebrates Mr. Carl Joel Tilos, faculty member of the Basic Education Department, for representing the SPUD and the Philippines at the AFS Global Educators Academy and the 31st AFS Youth Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.

As one of 50 Global Educators selected from more than 900 applicants worldwide, Mr. Tilos participated in the fully funded Academy supported by bp, joining educators from around the world in advancing global education, sustainability, intercultural understanding, and youth leadership.

The experience continued at the AFS Youth Assembly, organized by AFS Intercultural Programs in strategic partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), bringing together 700+ participants at the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters and other international spaces in Geneva.

More than a global experience, this is a journey of bringing new perspectives, connections, and possibilities back to the classroom and to the Paulinian community.
