St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) continues to cement its reputation as a hub for technological advancement as three student innovators from the College of Business and Information Technology (CBIT) successfully secured the official copyright registration for their web-based application named "WhisperWind."

The innovators behind the project—Jander Banico, CJ Saguban, and Vic Anthony Budiongan—developed the application under the close mentorship and guidance of their research adviser, Mr. Roldan Hernando.

The successful copyright registration marks a crucial milestone for the team, legally protecting the intellectual property of their web application and transforming their academic research concept into a formally recognized digital solution.

The university administration and the CBIT department expressed immense pride in the students' accomplishment, noting that this breakthrough highlights the institution’s commitment to fostering high-quality research, creativity, and strong intellectual property awareness across the entire Paulinian community.
