St. Paul University Dumaguete participated in the high-level Regional Policy Conference on Future-Ready Higher Education held at Sotogrande Hotel, Jaro, Iloilo City on October 14, 2026.

Organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the convention gathered SUC Presidents, policymakers, stakeholders, and heads of Autonomous and Deregulated HEIs. The conference served as a strategic platform for the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) community to exchange key perspectives, strengthen regional cooperation, and explore critical priorities shaping the landscape of higher education in Southeast Asia.

Representing the university at this pivotal event was Mr. Erven Noay, MACDDS, MAEd, Head of External Affairs.

By engaging in these essential regional dialogues, SPUD continues to advance its commitment to global standards and innovative, future-proof academic leadership. This participation directly champions SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering cross-border alliances to build a more resilient educational ecosystem.
