SPUD brings together the community for reflection and devotion through the Stations of the Cross

In a heartfelt display of faith and unity, St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD) held its annual Stations of the Cross, drawing in a significant number of parishioners from the local community. This spiritual journey, which commenced on Good Friday, allowed participants to reflect on the last moments of Jesus Christ's life before his crucifixion.

The Stations of the Cross is a devotional practice observed by Christians, particularly during the Holy Week, as they follow and meditate upon the 14 significant stations of Jesus' journey to his crucifixion.

Parishioners of all ages participated in the event, walking together through the serene surroundings of the SPUD campus, pausing at each station to pray, reflect, and contemplate the events that unfolded centuries ago.

The Stations of the Cross at SPUD is an annual tradition that continues to resonate with the community, fostering spiritual growth and togetherness. As the parishioners departed, they carried with them the memories of this sacred experience, ready to continue their faith journey with renewed strength and inspiration.
