Dumaguete City, Philippines – Dr. Mary Francis Laquinon, Head, International Relations and Continuing Education (OIRCE) and Mrs. Mary Joan Fortugaleza, MBA, BSHM/TM Program Chair at St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPU Dumaguete) recently visited six(6) luxurius hotels in Hong Kong. This ocular inspection aimed to evaluate facilities and training opportunities for Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) and Tourism Management (TM) students.

The selected hotels will host students for a six(6)-month on-the-job training program, during which they will receive a monthly allowance. This partnership enhances students' practical experience and prepares them for careers in the global hospitality industry.

With this initiative, SPU Dumaguete reaffirms its commitment to international partnership and student excellence in hospitality and tourism, readying students to become future leaders in the field.
