SPU Dumaguete Students Set to Soar on International Internship in Hong Kong

In a momentous occasion for St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPU Dumaguete), nine(9) 4th-year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) and Tourism Management (TM) students had the privilege of meeting with Hon. George Mariano, Vice Consul of the Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong. This significant engagement marks the students’ upcoming six-month internship program, designed to offer them invaluable on-the-job training and exposure in the dynamic fields of hospitality and tourism.

The meeting with Vice Consul Mariano served as an inspiring send-off for the first batch of students set to participate in this unique international internship opportunity. This program is designed to enhance their academic experience through practical training and real-world exposure in one of Asia’s bustling economic hubs.

The nine students, all majoring in BSHM and TM, expressed their excitement and gratitude for the chance to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture and industry landscape of Hong Kong.
