Dumaguete City, September 5, 2025 – DepEd Dumaguete City is set to partner with St. Paul University Dumaguete for the possible rollout of a Senior High School program at the Dumaguete City Jail – Male Dormitory.

This initiative aims to provide Junior High School completers inside the facility an opportunity to pursue Senior High School and eventually earn their secondary diploma.

DepEd Dumaguete City, together with St. Paul University, envisions this collaboration as a step towards empowering persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) through accessible, quality, and inclusive education.

We hope and pray that this meaningful partnership will soon become a reality.
