SPU Dumaguete Paulinian Student Government Recognized at Dumaguete Youth Achievers Awards
St. Paul University (SPU) Dumaguete Paulinian Student Government (PSG), led by BSN IV student Mr. Aaron Lin Talaboc, president, received recognition as Outstanding Youth Organization at the First Dumaguete Youth Achiever Awards. The event, hosted by the City of Dumaguete’s Local Youth Development Office, celebrated the significant contributions of youth organizations to the community.
Guided by their adviser Mrs. Angela D. Ocao, MARE, the Paulinian Student Government was honored for its impactful initiatives, including the “Monthly Prison Ministry” and the “Annual Community Outreach Program in Olympia Island, Bais City.” These projects reflect the organization’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
“This recognition is a testament to our members’ hard work and dedication,” Talaboc stated. “We will continue to empower our peers and serve our community.”
The awards ceremony brought together local government officials and youth leaders, highlighting the vital role of the youth in Dumaguete’s development and progress.
